Join us on this special study day with Hanne
Marquardt, well known European pioneer in Reflexotherapy of the Feet
(RTF) – a very specialized form of reflexology. Hanne has over 57 years
experience in the medical field and 50 years experience in the art of
reflexology. She has trained a large number of therapists worldwide for
over 40 years now, including workers in the medical field. Hanne
studied with Eunice Ingham in 1958 and over the course of the next 9
years, she developed a very effective technique for working the reflex
areas on the feet.
Today, RTF is taught and recognized in more than 15 international schools.

I received my Reflexology training by Hanne Marquardt's International School of Foot Reflexology in Germany. It was a few years later before I met her in person in one of her workshops, which for me was a memorable experience. Her professional skills were graced with charisma, humor and enthusiasm. She easily portrayed the "way of doing" and shared a lot of knowledge and hints that can't be found in books. Her style included the use of idioms, which reflected centuries old wisdoms. Truly a sincere and gifted teacher, intuitive and sensitive to the needs of her students. A bit of information that I will always remember, which may seem elementary, but easily forgotten is "work with your fingers, spare and take care of your thumbs". I am looking forward to meeting Hanne again in September during the Kelowna conference. — Helga Petersen
